Butchers

Nelson’s in an award winning butchers in the traditional Lincolnshire town of Stamford. They run three shops around the town and a central factory where they can produce a variety of the usual meat products, plus more complex items such as pork pie, sausages and ready meals.

The Brief

I documented the largely unseen progress which sees whole animals entering one end of the building and sausages, pies and choice cuts leaving the other. I then used these photos to produce a book of the process and the images were used in further marketing for Nelson’s.
