Every year Kaplan’s International Colleges release their student progression statistics, along with other data. This information is a valuable tool for marketing the colleges as the percentages are very high.
To work out the target market for the statistics being presented and develop a more interesting way of presenting the raw data, which has previously been released in a series of lists and excel documents.
I worked with content teams to define the target audience, which we concluded was agents and university partners, which represent a more mature viewer than our normal audience of students. As the sole designer it was for me to produced a more reserved design while working harmoniously with the KIC publications as these booklets would probably be given to potential students at some point.
The statistics brochure was well received for its refreshing approach to presenting the information and received a lot of positive feedback for its appearance and its development for a different audience. I then worked with the digital team to help them replicate their appearance for our corporate site and the infographics I made were used on a series of micro-sites, mail-outs and blogs.
