About Me //
I have always been a creative person and my two passions were writing and drawing/designing. When I finished my A Levels I decided to pursue a career in journalism, after a while it became clear that for the most part, the life of a journalist wasn’t a particularly creative one. On the second year of the course I studied page layout and design for newspapers and magazines and realised that this was much more like the career I wanted to follow. While studying my degree during the day I went to evening classes to gain an AS Level in Art to be accepted into a university design course. I completed my second year to gain my Higher National Diploma in Journalism (Media) with my final year project specialising in Design and the Ethics of News-culture.

At university my design skills and knowledge of software and codes has grown exponentially. Working with like-minded people and lectures that have history in art and design, improved my knowledge and ability to generate ideas. My dissertation was a study into ecological design and greenwashing, while on the practical side I worked heavily with type, photography and illustration.

I am currently employed as a photo editor in Peterborough. I am always looking to take on new challenges, so if you have a new project that you think I could help with or you just fancy a chat, please don’t hesitate to contact me.
